West Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce "Tuesday Topics" Breakfast

When: Tuesday, 8 a.m.

Details: If you're curious about plans for the casino and other new entertainment up at Arundel Mills, this may be a session worth sitting in on. Rob Norton, the general manager for Maryland Live!, will update folks on the project. Cost is $20 for chamber members, $30 for non-members.

When: Wednesday, 6 p.m.
Where: 8452 Zimborski Ave., Fort Meade

Details: Installation Commander Col. Edward Rothstein will host a session to give the latest information on what's happening on base, and to take questions from the community.

Arundel Instrumental Fundraising Brainstorming Session

When: Wednesday, 7 p.m.
Where: Arundel High, Dr. Phillip L. Butts Music Wing

Details: If you're involved in the Arundel High instrumental music programs, this could be an important session. It's a chance to help other parents and supporters come up with new and creative ways to raise money.

High School Football State Title Game

When: Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore

Details: Our Arundel Wildcats didn't make it this year. But local county rival Old Mill did, and will face off against Quince Orchard for the Class 4A top prize.
