Details: These local rivals have had some real battles over the years, and now they are back for a second-round playoff matchup. The Meade girls should be favored as they topped the Lady Wildcats, 64-46, during the regular season.

Details: Members of the business community will hear a presentation from Michele Wheley of the Central Maryland Transportation Alliance, which has advocated for an expansion of MARC train service. The breakfast is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.

Arraignment for Majid Shoukat Khan

Where: Fort Meade 

Details: Fort Meade is serving as the satellite location for media and other parties following the military commissions of terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Khan, a former Baltimore resident, was charged with war crimes and has reportedly agreed to testify against other detainees. Patch will be covering the proceedings from Fort Meade.

State Wrestling Tournament

When: Saturday and Sunday
Where: Cole Field House, College Park

Details: There will be four wrestlers from in action as the best wrestlers in the state face off this weekend. Tyler Goodwin will be seeking his second state championship, while Logan Reece will look to improve on a second-place finish from last year. Justin Goodwin and Zach Johnson have also qualified.
