Fort Meade Job Fair Includes TSA, Schools Among 70 Employers

FORT MEADE, MD — The Transportation Security Administration is among numerous employers participating in a community job fair scheduled for May 22 at Fort Meade in Anne Arundel County, the agency said in a news release.

TSA is seeking to fill openings for an Intelligence Operations Specialist, a Transportation Security Specialist, a Personnel Security Specialist, a Security Assistant, a Program Analyst and an Information Technology Specialist. Details of those positions, as well as others at the agency, can be found at www.USAjobs.gov.

The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fort Meade’s Club Meade, 6600 Mapes Road. Attendees without a Department of Defense ID card should go to the MD 175 and Reece Road entry gate and report to the Fort Meade Visitor Control Center. Job fair attendees should bring a photo ID or their driver’s license. Participants can then hop on a shuttle to/from the Visitor’s Center directly to Club Meade, according to a press release.

Other job fair participants include Anne Arundel Community College, Anne Arundel County Police, Anne Arundel County Public Schools, BrainTrust Holdings, Community College of Baltimore County, Fort Meade CPAC, Fort Meade EEO, Maryland Department of Health, Maryland state government, Towson University Continuing & Professional Studies, and the University of Maryland.

The community job fair is being hosted by Fort George G. Meade MWR, DLLR / American Job Center, Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation (AAWDC), Army Community Service (ACS), Navy Fleet & Family Support Center, Soldier For Life and Transition Assistance Program.
