Fort Meade to Switch HOV Gate

Employees who carpool will be able to enter at Rockenbach Road beginning on May 23.

Fort Meade will make a change to its plan for accomodating carpoolers, shifting its dedicated high-occupancy vehicle entrance from the Llewellyn to Rockenbach Road gate.

The change will go into effect on May 23.

Anyone arriving at Fort Meade via carpool or vanpool will be able to bypass other traffic at Rockenbach, potentially saving time and hassle.
