Four Hanover Businesses Among Fastest Growing in Country

Four Hanover businesses were named one of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the country by a major business magazine. 

Edwards Project Solutions, Ciphent, Convergence Marketing and Summit Solutions were included in the “Inc. Magazine 500/5000” list, which recognizes private companies for their growth in the previous year.

The local businesses were just four of 24 companies in or near Anne Arundel County on the Inc. list, with another three companies honored by Deloitte and Touche in its “Technology Fast 500” rankings.

According to Inc. Magazine, Ciphent saw revenue of $18.64 million in 2010, a number 15 times greater than their revenue in 2007. It now has 110 employees, and is ranked as the fifth best company in its industry and No. 218 among all businesses on the list. 

The Deloitte and Touche “Technology Fast 500” list included PharmAthene, Inc., TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. and Zenoss, all based in Annapolis.
