Hanover Dunkin’ Donuts Employee Suffers Chest Pains After Robbery

Anne Arundel County Police are searching for a man who robbed the Dunkin' Donuts in Hanover. A worker suffered chest pains as a result.

HANOVER, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for a man, possibly armed, who robbed the Dunkin' Donuts restaurant in Hanover. The hold-up happened about 8:25 p.m. Tuesday at the franchise's 1348 Ashton Road location.

A store employee told police officer that a man walked up to the the counter, implied he had a handgun in his jacket pocket, and demanded cash from the register. Once the clerk handed over the money, the robber fled from the store.

The clerk complained of chest pains as a result of the incident and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Officers searched the area with help from the police K9 unit and a helicopter, but they were unable to find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall with a stocky build, and he was wearing a red hooded jacket at the time of the robbery.
