Hanover Homeowner Reports Stranger Shooting Into House: Police

HANOVER, MD — When a homeowner heard a knock at the door and opened it Sunday, a man standing on the other side fired shots into the home. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the 7800 block of Crystal Brook. The Anne Arundel County Police Department received numerous calls for shots fired in the area.

After questioning residents in the neighborhood, police discovered several witnesses who had seen numerous people and vehicles leaving the immediate area. There were no injuries reported and the police department says it does not appear to be a random act of violence.
