HB33 Lynettes law for Maryland needs to pass

I have been working with Lynette's Law for awhile now and have seen many things happen with professional abuse through out the world.  I am very much disgusted by what I see and how many professionals gets away with this because it is not law in their state.  They have not made it a crime and don't feel like they should.
Maryland is no different.  I don't understand how you could turn your backs on victims of this crime.  I don't understand how you think it doesn't need to be a crime.  I don't understand how you think that the boards can deal with it them selves when if you look back at what is happening the boards are not dealing with it.  They are not police they can not arrest them.  They are not a judge or jury who can put them in jail.  They take their license away or just allow them to surrender.  What happens then is they go to another state get a license there and then do it all over again or get their license back so they can do it all over in the same state.  Even board members who are suppose to protect the clients have been accused of abusing their clients.  How can they protect us if they are doing it themselves?
We need everyone to call your delegates and senators and tell them to pass Lynette's Law HB33 and make it a crime.
Why keep allowing the same people to make the decisions on what happens to the professionals who abuse their clients?  Why would you even consider they are going to change?
The time for action on this is now.  Don't allow another client to become a victim and turn your back on them.  Show them we are here for them.  Show them we care.
Take back a little part of our state and show them who we are.  Look at what HB33 is all about.  Study it and then call your delegates.  Make sure they pass HB33 and protect all of us from being the next victim.  Make therapy abuse a crime.
