Heroin Worth $4.2K Seized in Severn Raid, 3 Charged
Anne Arundel County Police have charged suspects from Severn and Annapolis with selling heroin and other drugs.
SEVERN, MD — Three suspected drug dealers from Severn and Annapolis were arrested during a raid at a Severn residence where heroin, cocaine and a handgun were found, officials said.
Officers with the Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force executed a search warrant at 7846 Citadel Drive in Severn on Wednesday. The warrant was the result of a month-long investigation into narcotics trafficking from the residence.
During the search detectives found: 35.4 grams of heroin, 1.2 grams of cocaine, 2.9 grams of marijuana, $764 in cash, a Springfield .40 caliber pistol, and a ballistic vest. A cutting agent, digital scale, and paraphernalia typically used in the distribution of heroin were also found by police.

Authorities say the total estimated street value of the heroin recovered from the residence is $4,248.

- Taurus Deron Naylor, 19, of 7846 Citadel Drive in Severn, who is charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to deliver narcotic heroin, possession of cocaine hydrochloride, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Rayquante Pack, 19, of 10 Greenbriar Lane in Annapolis, is charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to deliver narcotic heroin, possession of cocaine hydrochloride, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Kelly Bowers, 27, of 7846 Citadel Drive in Severn, is charged with narcotic counterfeit possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Charges for the handgun and ballistic vest are pending at this time.
