Homicide At McDonald's In Anne Arundel Prompts Baltimore County Arrest: Police
After a McDonald's worker was fatally shot in Anne Arundel, police said they arrested a Baltimore County suspect.

GAMBRILLS, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department announced Wednesday that it arrested a man in connection with a May homicide at a Gambrills McDonald's.
Officers identified the victim as 23 -year-old Britrain Marcelus Gray of Odenton and the arrestee as 21-year-old Ja'quan Green of Middle River.
Authorities said they heard a report of gunshots at the McDonald's on May 13 around 4:45 a.m.

Police said they responded to the fast food restaurant, located at 1130 Crain Highway South, and found Gray dead with at least one apparent gunshot wound. Gray was working at the McDonald's at the time of the shooting.
Officials took the victim's body to the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy. The examiner ruled the cause of death a gunshot wound with the manner being a homicide, a police spokesperson told Patch.

Homicide detectives started investigating and said they think this was a targeted crime, not a random act of violence.
Officers eventually charged Green in connection with Gray's death.
Maryland's court database did not list Green's official charges at the time of publication. Patch asked the police department to clarify what his charges are. Authorities responded and said the exact charges should be posted on the database within a few days.
Though police already made an arrest, they still asked anybody with information to share their tips. Residents can call Anne Arundel County's homicide unit at 410-222-4731. Tipsters can dial the police department anonymously at 410-222-4700.
