Impaired Speedster Clocked At 100 MPH, 3 Arrested: Police
Police said they caught an impaired driver going 100 mph. They also found a gun, ammunition and marijuana in the car, officers added.

HANOVER, MD — Police said they caught a driver going 100 mph in a 55 mph zone last Wednesday. The officer, who was on a drunk driving detail, added that the motorist seemed impaired.
The traffic stop happened around 12: 15 a.m. along the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near its intersection with Maryland Route 100. The officer searched the 2008 Cadillac DTS, noting that they found:
- A .22-caliber Sig Sauer pistol
- Two magazines
- Several rounds of ammunition
- A bit of marijuana (less than 10 grams)
The Anne Arundel County Police Department arrested the accused driver, 30-year-old Raynard Horne Jr. of Baltimore, and his two passengers, identified as 31-year-old Nicholas Antoine Hill of Bowie and 22-year-old Jerome Hodge Jr. of Glen Burnie.

Officers gave Horne these eight tickets, worth a combined $1,620:
- Driving or attempting to drive a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol ($0)
- Driving or attempting to drive a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol per se ($0)
- Driving or attempting to drive a vehicle while impaired by alcohol ($0)
- Reckless driving ($510)
- Negligent driving ($240)
- Driving a vehicle on a highway at a speed exceeding the limit ($530)
- Operating an unregistered motor vehicle ($290)
- Failure to display a license on demand ($50)
Police added that the three occupants were legally barred from possessing a gun. They all face several gun charges, but only Horne is up against a felony. The trio was released on recognizance.
