January Jammed with Business Events
Here's a look at what the West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce has planned for the month.

The has a busy month of January planned, with the return of its "Tuesday Topics" breakfast and a new business mixer event. Chamber officials have also been busy launching a new Facebook page devoted to a "Buy Local" campaign.
This week, the chamber has several big meetings as it prepares to push for pro-business bills during the upcoming legislative session. (Look for more on that later this week.)

Tuesday, Jan. 10:
- Business Development Group at 8 a.m.
- Marketing Committee at 10 a.m.
- Membership Growth and Small Business Council meeting at 11:30 a.m.
Thursday, Jan. 12

- Military Affairs Committee at 9 a.m.
Friday, Jan. 13
- Ambassador Committee at 8 a.m., McDonald's of Odenton
- Executive Committee at 9 a.m.
- Membership Growth committe at 10:30 a.m.
All meetings will be at the chamber offices at 8385 Piney Orchard Parkway, Odenton, unless otherwise noted.
The chamber will also host two big information and networking events.
On Jan. 17, the chamber will host a new business mixer at the Greene Turtle at Arundel Mills. It's a no-fee mixer from 5-7 p.m., and is open to members and non-members. There will be a drawing for a free $50 gift card to in Odenton.
The chamber will also host the "Tuesday Topics" breakfast at Tavern in Gambrills on Jan. 24 at 8 a.m. The guest speaker this month will be Mike Livingston, the president of the Bank of Glen Burnie and chairman of the board of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation. Livingston, who , will update the group on the business climate in west Anne Arundel County.
