LETTER: Construction Workers Use MARC Parking
A local rail commuter says it's become harder to park at the Odenton MARC station because spaces are being used by workers at a nearby development.

The following letter was submitted to MARC train officials and to Odenton Patch by reader Rebecca Dick. It has been posted unedited and in full.
I am writing in regards to the increasingly troublesome parking situation at the Odenton MARC Station. I hope I am not the only person reporting this concern, because the more people who express their concerns, the more chance there is that the issue can be resolved.
The problem, for me, is the number of construction vehicles parked in the MARC parking lot. It is my understanding that parking in the MARC parking lot is restricted to MARC riders only. However, due to the amount of construction in the area, there are CONSTANTLY construction vehicles parked in the MARC Parking Lot. This, of course, decreases the number of parking spaces available for actual MARC riders. Is there any way that this issue can be looked into? I see construction workers congregating in the lot together around their vehicles around 7:00 in the morning, then crossing the street to the construction on the apartments across the street. Can someone look into this issue?
