Local Chamber Head to Join National Board

Claire Louder, the President of the West Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to the Board of Regents of the Institute for Organization Management.

The head of the local chamber of commerce has been appointed to serve on a national board overseeing a major business development program.

Claire Louder, who serves as President and CEO of the West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, will serve on the Board of Regents for the Institute for Organization Management.

The Institute is an arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and serves as the main developmental program for business organizations, local chambers of commerce and associations. Participants in the program take at least 96 hours of course instruction in non-profit management.

As one of five members of the board of regents, Louder will help oversee the recruitment, retention, and marketing of the program.

Louder's office is located and Odenton and she resides in Crofton. She already holds positions with several other organizations, including the Maryland Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and the Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee.
