Local Hula Group Needs Your Support

Hi!  I belong to a local hula school, or hālau, based in Annapolis, Ilima Hula Studio O Maryland.  We have been given the opportunity to dance at the Opening Ceremonies for the Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo, Hawaii.  This is a big deal... we may be the first East Coast hālau to perform in what can best be described as the Olympics of hula!  Although we are not competing, we are extremely honored to be invited to perform three exhibition dances on the most famous stage in hula.  
As you can imagine, costumes, musicians and other related expenses can be quite expensive. Although we have done some fundraising, we are short by about $2500. This does not include the dancers' personal commitment for airfare and hotel!  Please watch the Kickstarter video and consider a donation to support a local group performing hula in Hawaii!!
