Lynette's Law bills are passing in two states, still need your support

House Bill 33 Hearing was on January 28th and then sat in the chairman's drawer until March 14 it passed the Judiciary http://legiscan.com/MD/bill/HB33/2014    and will now wait to go before the senates.  This bill will criminalize therapist abuse, it will make sure that professionals can't exploit their clients.  It will be a law and victims will now have the right to press charges and have their day in court.

We still have a long way to go and without your support I'm not sure we will make it.  We can still pull together and make this happen.

We will need all of you to contact your senators and tell them that you support Lynette's Law and would like them to support it too.  Here is the list of Maryland Senators http://msa.maryland.gov/msa/mdmanual/05sen/html/senal.html

In West Virginia we also have two bills that passed.  http://www.newstribune.info/article/20140226/NEWS/140229791/0/SEARCH/?tag=3

The activates for Lynette's Law are proud of their accomplishments but they do understand that they still have a long way to go.

Heather Sinclair who is the founder of Lynette's Law had tears of joy over these steps in the right direction.  Hopefully this year her dream will come true that Maryland will pass the bill and make it a law.

Show your support by calling your senator.  Check us out on Facebook and like our page https://www.facebook.com/lynetteslaw4maryland
