Memorial Day Walk To Be Held In Honor Of Fallen Service Members
Anne Arundel County residents are invited to participate in a Memorial Day Walk hosted by wear blue: run to remember that starts at 8 a.m.

ODENTON, MD – This Memorial Day, wear blue: run to remember encourages Anne Arundel County residents to lace up their shoes and hit a three-mile loop to honor fallen service members and their families. The event will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on Monday, May 27, at the Gambrills-Odenton Recreational Park, 940 Strawberry Lake Way.
The special event will kick off with a Circle of Remembrance where the names of fallen service members are spoken aloud. Afterward, participants are encouraged to run, walk or push a stroller along the three-mile walk, which also is pet friendly. There also will be a one-mile mark set up.
There will be special guests from organizations such as MD Gold Star Mothers and the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Regional Office. There also will be prizes raffled off from Crooked Crab Brewery and The Hideaway. Register for the event here.
