New Business Opens Its Doors In Gambrills

High's Kitchen, a new business in Gambrills, offers food and fuel, including pizza and ice cream. An open house will be held June 27.

GAMBRILLS, MD -- The community welcomes a new business this month as High's Kitchen opened its doors at 1329 Defense Highway in Gambrills. The new convenience store has 12 fueling stations and remains open 24 hours a day. It offers customers a number of High's traditional menu items, such as handbreaded chicken, homemade pizza and fresh ice cream.

The store will be hosting a grand opening for the community Thursday, June 27. Meghan Harris with High's Kitchen said several vendors will be on site beginning at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., including Coke and Monster. Free samples of the store's chicken and ice cream also will be handed out. High's cow will make a special appearance, too.

"In addition to this, we are holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:15 a.m. and an ice cream sundae building contest," Harris told Patch.
