New Verizon Wireless Store Opens This Month

Verizon Wireless has confirmed that it will open a new store in Odenton this month, filling the spot .

Construction workers are placing the finishing touches on the store at the corner of Maryland Route 175 and Berger Street, next to the Firestone Complete Auto Care center.

The building now features Verizon's black-and-red color scheme, and crews are currently installing counters and kiosks inside.

Verizon Wireless spokeswoman Melanie Ortel did not offer a specific date for when the store would be completed, but said it will open in January.

This would be the first full-service Verizon Wireless store in Odenton. The company's products and service are also sold at Radio Shack.
