Oasis Consignments Holds Grand Opening
Shoppers flocked to the new store on Piney Orchard Parkway.
held a formal grand opening celebration Friday, with scores of new customers checking out Odenton’s newest business.
Owners of the new shop on Piney Orchard Parkway said they’ve collected more than 2,000 items, and that the reception from the community has been positive. The store specializes in clothing and accessories for women, with some items for children.
“We feel very welcomed here in Odenton,” said Debra Hoffmaster, who owns the store with friend Alexis Davis.

Oasis Consignments held a ribbon-cutting event Friday with officials from the , and received a special citation from the office of County Executive John R. Leopold.

The store fills a once-vacant space next to the chamber's office.
“This has been a great transformation and it’s wonderful to have this great asset to the community and have this space filled,” said chamber president Claire Louder.
