Odenton, Crofton, Laurel Men Indicted In $400K Drug Ring
Odenton, Crofton and Laurel residents are among those indicted for selling heroin and cocaine worth nearly $400,000, police said.
ODENTON, MD — Odenton, Crofton and Laurel residents are among those indicted for selling large quantities of heroin and cocaine across central Maryland, police said Monday. The investigation begin in early 2017, and 13 indictments were made against 13 people, officials with the Howard County and Anne Arundel County Police Departments said.
The two agencies, with help from the Laurel Police Department, investigated into a high-level cocaine and heroin distributor, Marvin Little, 30, of Laurel, whom police described as a high-level cocaine and heroin distributor. Ten search warrants resulted in the seizure of:
- More than $300,000 in cash
- Jewelry valued at more than $180,000
- Five vehicles
- Five handguns (one stolen)
- An assault rifle (stolen)
- About 12.5 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated value of $337,500
- About 1.25 kilograms of heroin/fentanyl mix with an estimated value of $75,000
Of the 13 indictments, all in Howard County, seven were released Monday, while authorities said the other suspects can't be identified at this time due of sealed indictments or other outstanding investigations.

Those indicted and the crimes they are charged with are:
Marvin Craig Little, 30, of Laurel, was indicted Feb. 16 as a kingpin cocaine and heroin dealer. He is also charged with 30 other criminal counts including gang participation, conspiracy to distribute and import cocaine and heroin, and possession with intent to distribute a fentanyl mix.

Michael Alexander Ward, 23, of Laurel, was indicted Feb. 16 on eight charges, including gang participation, conspiracy to distribute cocaine and heroin, and possession with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine and a fentanyl mix, and being a volume heroin dealer.
Stephen Lee Wise Jr., 41, of Odenton, was indicted March 28 on charges of conspiracy – narcotic drug and volume dealer - heroin.
Jesse Ray Spielman, 22, of Crofton, was indicted March 28 on a charge of conspiracy – narcotic drug.
Larry Ruffus Saddler, 32, of Laurel, was indicted March 28 on a charge of conspiracy – narcotic drug.
Samson Mesfun, 34, of Oakley, California, was indicted May 2 on charges of conspiracy to import cocaine and conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
Reginald Bryan Mathis, 34, of Temple Hills, was indicted May 2 on a charge of conspiracy to distribute narcotic drug.
