
Sunday, January 5 will be History Detective Day at the Odenton Heritage Society. Visitors are encouraged to bring a historical document, family Bible or photograph to copy, or an object to donate. Local historians and curators will be on hand to help identify and research such items and record information and stories for the Society's files. Hours are from 1 pm to 4 pm, and parking is available at the Society's building at 1367 Odenton Road, one block west of Piney Orchard Parkway.
Visitors can explore the 1912 Old Masonic Hall and enjoy museum displays about railroads, the Civil War, military history, and local businesses such as Nevamar. Admission is free. For more information, seewww.odentonheritage.org
