Odenton Shooting Death Ruled a Homicide: Police

Anne Arundel County Police say an Odenton man was shot to death Friday night; it's the county's second homicide of 2017l

ODENTON, MD — A man shot to death in an Odenton yard is the second homicide of 2017 in Anne Arundel County, according to authorities. Nathan Antoine Ford, 24, from the 2200 block of Conquest Way in Odenton died from gunshot wounds after he was shot about 10:45 p.m. Friday, say Anne Arundel County Police.

Officers were called to the 2200 block of Conquest Way for an unknown disturbance, but found Ford lying in a yard suffering from a gunshot wound. While police and fire department personnel treated Ford at the scene, he later died from his injuries.

The Anne Arundel County Homicide Unit talked to several witnesses and searched the crime scene collecting evidence.

The Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore performed an autopsy on Ford Saturday and ruled Ford’s cause of death as gunshot wound(s) with the manner being homicide. This is the second homicide in Anne Arundel County this year, the first was the Jan. 2 shooting death of Terry Crouse, 55, outside his residence in the 1800 block of Kimberwicke Place in Annapolis.
