Odenton Snow Measurements from Weekend Storm

How did Odenton stack up to state, Anne Arundel County?

Anne Arundel County got more than 6 inches of snow in some areas this weekend, according to preliminary reports.

The following are unofficial measurements reported to the National Weather Service:

  • BWI Airport: 6.3 inches; reported at midnight
  • Odenton: 6 inches; reported at 6 p.m.
  • Fort Meade: 6 inches; reported at 10:30 p.m.
  • Linthicum: 5.8 inches; reported at 6 p.m.
  • Linthicum Heights: 4 inches; reported at 5:44 p.m.
  • Severna Park: 3.5 inches; reported at 7:22 p.m.
  • Green Haven: 3.5 inches; reported at 5:20 p.m.
  • Northwest Riva: 3 inches; reported at 5:40 p.m.
  • Southwest Crownsville: 2.9 inches; reported at 6:05 p.m.
  • Northwest Annapolis: 2 inches; reported at 5:45 p.m.
  • Southeast Davidsonville: 2 inches; reported at 5:50 p.m.

The highest total statewide came from Montgomery County, where Damascus reported 13 inches, according to the weather service.

Parts of Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard and Washington counties also reported unofficial snow totals of at least 10 inches.
