Man Jailed After Road Rage Incident Involving Woman, Child In Baltimore County

The man is facing felony charges after Maryland State Police arrested him at Fort Meade on Oct. 9.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A Pennsylvania man is facing felony charges following a road rage incident on Interstate 83 in Baltimore County, state police said.

According to police, the incident happened on Oct. 9 on southbound I-83 when the driver of a gray Toyota Corolla pulled out a gun and pointed it at a mother and child in another car.

No injuries were reported.

State investigators found the Toyota Corolla later that day at Fort Meade. With the assistance of personnel from the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division, police searched the vehicle and seized a loaded handgun.

The driver of the Corolla — Gary Douglas, 40, of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania —was arrested without incident. He was later jailed without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
