Pair Face Theft Charges from Construction Site: Police
A man and woman from Severn face theft charges after police say they were found overnight at a Hanover business.

A man and woman from Severn face theft charges after Anne Arundel County Police found them at a construction site early Thursday in Hanover.
Officers were checking businesses about 3:30 a.m. in the 7200 block of Preston Gateway Drive when they came upon an unoccupied vehicle. As police approached the vehicle, two people ran toward it. One suspect got in the vehicle and left the scene, while the officer apprehended the other suspect, identified as Eboni Toika Eldridge, 21, of Manet Way in Severn
Police say the suspect who drove away – later identified as Jamel Matthew Mason, 21, of Manet Way in Severn – didn’t turn on his headlights and crashed into construction equipment. He then fled on foot, and police failed to find him.

Both subjects will be charged, police say.
