Patient First Hiring for New Center in Odenton

The new urgent care facility, set to open on Maryland Route 175 next year, has posted job openings for several positions, including nurse and lab technician.

Patient First has started recruiting staff for its new urgent care center in Odenton, and could be open for business by next fall.

The company is expected to open a new office at the Odenton Gateway development near the traffic circle on Maryland Route 175, and began advertising job openings this month. Available full-time and part-time positions include registered nurse, radiological technician, patient service representative and lab technician.

David Clark, a community relations representative for Patient First, said there was no specific timeline for when the new facility will open, but company officials are hopeful it could be ready by the third quarter of 2012.

Construction of the new center has not started.

The facility is part of a larger mixed-used project that includes  and a  from Johns Hopkins and Anne Arundel Health System. The complex is seen as a major part of the plans for the Odenton Town Center.
