Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle That Fled in Severn: Police
Anne Arundel County Police are searching for a dark-colored Jeep or Dodge that hit a woman on a Severn road.

SEVERN, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for the driver who reportedly hit a pedestrian on a Severn road and fled the scene Monday night.
The hit-and-run accident happened about 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of New Cut Road and Upton Road in Severn. Witnesses say a woman was walking when she was struck by a dark-colored truck, possibly a Jeep or Dodge. The vehicle did not stop and continued west on New Cut Road toward Pasture Brook Road.
Police say the victim suffered a head injury and was taken to University of Maryland Hospital Shock Trauma, where she is listed in stable condition.
