Perry's To Host Top Dems in Coming Weeks

The Odenton restaurant will be the venue for separate appearances by Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot and Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger.

Perry's Restaurant in Odenton is scheduled to host meetings featuring two top members of the Democratic party in the coming weeks.

The restaurant on Annapolis Road will host the on Feb. 16, when Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot will be the guest speaker. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with Franchot's remarks set for 7 p.m.

Franchot is a self-proclaimed "fiscal conservative," who made news this week when he spoke out against Gov. Martin O'Malley's proposal to add sales tax to the existing flat tax on gasoline. His name has been widely circulated as a possible candidate for Governor in 2014.

On March 8, Perry's is scheduled to host a fundraising happy hour for Rep. C.A. "Dutch" Ruppersberger, who is seeking re-election for the seat in Maryland's 2nd District.
