Pharmacy, Motorcycles Top Tuesday's Town Center Agenda

There's a full agenda for Tuesday night's meeting of the Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee.

The will get updates on several development projects in town and will discuss nominations for board openings when it meets Tuesday night.

It's a full agenda for the committee, as it meets for the first time under the direction of its newly-elected chairman, Jamie Fraser.

The committee will start by discussing the procedures for filling vacancies on the board. There are three open spots and the county is accepting nominations from the public.

Five different projects will be up for discussion.

First, the committee will talk about the new Verizon Store on Annapolis Road and whether or not it should have been consulted prior to it being completed earlier this year.

That discussion will be followed by presentation from Motorcycle Riders Co., which has plans to move into the former site of the Harvest Moon store near the roundabout in east Odenton. The company will show early plans for a motorcycle parts and repair business.

The committee will then hear from officials from CVS, who will at the Odenton Gateway site.

Next, committee members will hear updates on two older projects, including plans by the Hogan Cos. to and an apartment complex across from the .

The committee will finish up with a discussion about the Odenton Town Center Growth Management Report.

The town center committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the conference room of the , located at 8273 Telegraph Rd., Odenton.
