PHOTOS: Massing of the Colors at Fort Meade
Gov. Martin O'Malley was among those in attendance at Fort Meade's annual event to honor military service members.
Gov. Martin O'Malley and hundreds of visitors came to Fort Meade on Sunday for the annual Massing of the Colors ceremony.
The event, in its 26th year, is dedicated to honoring military members for their service and paying respects to those who have died in defense of the United States.
The Massing of the Colors is presented each year by the Gen. George G. Meade Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars.

A procession of colors included members of a wide range of units, including active duty and reserve groups, local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, first responders and veterans.
