Plenty of Sports, and Some Music

Today's "Get Out" column (formerly known as the Weekend Preview) offers some options for sports and music lovers this weekend. 

Friday

 Arundel Basketball vs. Broadneck – The Wildcat boys sit in first place in the county, but the Bruins are just a game back. Meanwhile, the Lady Wildcats look to avenge a loss at Broadneck earlier this season.

Arundel Wrestling at Broadneck – After back-to-back losses to Old Mill and Severna Park, the Wildcats could use a win in their final regular season county meet.

 Saturday

All-County Middle School and High School Band Concert – The best musicians from county public schools perform at Southern High School in Harwood. The concert begins at 7 p.m. with musicians from Arundel High and Arundel Middle Schools represented.

Sunday

Watch the Super Bowl at – See the Packers clash with the Steelers in the big game on one of Kaufmann’s five flat screen televisions. The restaurant will have a $10 full dinner buffet, plus drink specials including $3 domestic beers, $3 rail drinks and $4 house wines. Only 100 tickets will be sold, so call 410-923-2000 to reserve.
