The suspect approached a Laurel woman as she got out of her car in front of her residence, stole her purse and fled. He was shown on video using her credit cards in the area.
A man and woman have been arrested for robbing a Laurel woman last month as she got out of her vehicle at her apartment building.
Anne Arundel County Police say the armed robbery happened about 8:23 p.m. March 23 near 3407 Holly Creek Drive. A man armed with a silver handgun demanded the victim’s purse, keys and cellphone. When she refused to turn over her keys, the suspect pulled back the slide on his handgun and threatened to kill the woman, police said.
The suspect took the purse and keys and drove away, throwing the keys in the parking lot. Surveillance video in the area took footage of the possible suspects using the victim’s credit cards.
