Police Hope Public Can ID Armed Robbery Suspects

Two men with a handgun reportedly robbed a man in Crofton and then used his credit cards at a Glen Burnie gas station.

A Crofton man was robbed at gunpoint Friday night and Anne Arundel County Police hope newly released photos of the suspect vehicle can lead to an arrest.

The robbery was reported about 9:17 p.m. in the area of Revere Court and Medford Court in Crofton.

The victim, a 32-year-old man, told police the suspects approached him on foot after he got out of his vehicle, pointed a handgun at him, ordered him to the ground and took his wallet. The suspects left the area on foot.

No injuries were reported. Canine and officers searched for the robbers but were unable to locate the suspects.

Police say the suspects used the victim’s credit card at a Glen Burnie gas station. They were seen driving an older model Cadillac Escalade with aftermarket rims.

The first suspect is described as a heavyset black male wearing a hoodie; the second suspect is a skinny black man wearing grey pants.
