Police: One Liquor Retailer Cited for Selling to Underage Buyer
One Anne Arundel County liquor retailer was recently cited for selling alcohol underage during a sweep in the western district.
A Hanover liquor retailer was cited on June 4 by Anne Arundel County Police for selling alcohol to someone underage.
The Western District Tactical Patrol Unit checked compliance of county liquor laws at several retailers; five businesses were checked within the Western District.
While four of the establishments did not sell alcohol to the minor, Arundel Wine & Spirits, 7645 Arundel Mills Blvd., No. 20, in Hanover allegedly sold alcohol to the minor.

The businesses that followed the law are:
- Preserve Wine & Spirits, 7690 Dorchester Road in Hanover
- Telegraph Station Liquor Mart, 7741 Telegraph Road in Severn
- BWI Liquors, 7502 Connelly Drive, #114C, in Hanover.
- Jackie’s Liquors, 3392 Laurel Fort Meade Road, Laurel
