Police: Shooting in Shopping Center Lot Tuesday Morning

One person was injured when shots were fired near the Arundel Mills Mall on Tuesday morning, according to media reports, including NBC Washington.

Anne Arundel Police responded just before 8 a.m. near the PetSmart store on Arundel Mills Boulevard. WUSA9 has photos of police working at the scene.

Lt. T.J. Smith told ABC7 the victim had a minor wound that didn’t require medical attention and that it was unclear whether the wound was from a bullet graze or shattered glass.

No arrests have been made and police are canvasing the area, according to Fox D.C.
