Praying through Meditative Services during Lent

Ark and Dove Presbyterian Church invites you to participate in meditative services on Wednesdays during Lent. What is Taize, you ask? Taize is the style of Christian worship practiced by the ecumenical Taize community in France, characterized by the repetitive singing of simple harmonized tunes and interspersed with readings, prayers, and periods of silence. Based on this structure, our worship leaders have created a variety of ways to worship, including a candle lit atmosphere, guided meditations, and some non-Taize music. This year, we will be adding Lectio Divina stations to some of the services. This will be another way to connect with God in the silence through meditation on Scripture passages.

Here in the schedule for the services. Hope to see you there!
