If there's anything to be learned from , it's that people are very loyal to their gym.
Readers responded in droves to support their favorite workout spots, and the emerged as the clear winner based on votes, comments and the number of positive reviews.
Supporters of the Odenton Curves said they liked its relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff, including owner Marsha Ensor.

The women-only Curves is known for its "circuit," which allows members to get a complete workout in about a half-hour. The Odenton location also offers Zumba classes with the circuit for just $2 extra.
"We have very loyal base," said Ensor, who has owned the gym since 2007. "They’re fantastic, and they support each other.”

The Odenton Curves location on Annapolis Road generated a lot of positive comments from members, many of whom said they have worked out there for as long as nine years.
"The staff is attentive without being intrusive, members are friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are clean and cheerful," member Sara Powell said. "I have been to many Curves in Anne Arundel and enjoy this one the most."
Ensor said membership has grown in the last couple of months, and that she's very appreciative of her three part-time employees who help keep the gym in tip-top shape.
“My staff is just awesome," Ensor said.
She said members are appreciative of her efforts to keep the gym and its equipment clean and up to date.
“I am very hands on," she said. "It’s me. I think that’s helped. Nobody's going to run the business like you’re going to run it.”
The Curves in Odenton will have a food drive between now and March. Anyone who brings in a bag of non-perishable food will have their sign-up fee waived. Items will likely go to the food pantry run by the Christian Assistance Program.
