Rosapepe Considers Run for Comptroller
The State Senator from District 21 said he has formed an advisory group of nearly 80 people as he considers a potential run for the office in 2014.

State Sen. Jim Rosapepe (D–District 21) announced Tuesday that he has formed a team of advisers in anticipation of a possible bid for Maryland comptroller in 2014.
Rosapepe said he has gathered more than nearly 80 supporters to advise him if current Comptroller Peter Franchot chooses to run for governor.
"In today's difficult economic environment, Maryland needs leadership with broad experience in public finance and private business—and with values [that] reflect the progressive traditions of our state,” Rosapepe said in a press release.
