Ruppersberger Touts Defense Bill, NSA Funds
The Congressman said he supported $325 million for a computing center and new construction at Fort Meade.

Rep. C.A. “Dutch” Ruppersberger (D-MD) on Friday voiced his support for the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act, which includes funding for a new high-powered computer center at Fort Meade.
Ruppersberger, who represents Maryland’s 2nd District and serves on the House Armed Forces Committee, said he supported most of the bill and its effort to tackle ongoing threats to U.S. security.
“This bill goes the distance, setting our long-term policies to tackle the emerging threats of tomorrow,” he said in a press release.
