Severn Carjacking Suspect Sought By Police
A teenager stole a Severn woman's car at gunpoint Saturday afternoon, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

SEVERN, MD — A Severn woman was reportedly the victim of a carjacking Saturday afternoon, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The armed theft took place just before 12:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of LaSalle Place, where the victim said she was in the driver’s seat of her vehicle when she was approached by a teenaged boy.
The teen carried a handgun, demanded the woman’s vehicle, and he then drove away. Numerous officers, including a police helicopter and canine unit, searched the area but the suspect could not be located. Police say the victim was not injured during the carjacking.
The suspect is described as a black male about 17 years old with a medium complexion. He is about 5’7” to 5’8” tall, weighs about 130 to 145 pounds with a thin build, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and black shoes.
