Last Friday, the Dash In store at 8895 Fort Smallwood Road was the target of a failed robbery. The clerk told police that a man entered the store with a shirt over his head and demanded money. Since the would-be robber didn't show a weapon, the clerk refused to hand over any cash and called 911.
The suspect in that case is described as a white male, wearing a dark shirt over his head.
