Severn Man Shot While Sitting In Car, Dies At Hospital: Police
A Severn man was shot while sitting in a car. He died soon after at a hospital, police said. Detectives think this was a targeted shooting.

SEVERN, MD — A man died after he was shot Sunday evening in Severn, county police said. Officers identified the victim as 20-year-old Naim Rashid Addison of Severn.
Authorities heard about the shooting near Pioneer Drive and Arwell Court around 8:40 p.m. Police said they found Addison suffering from at least one apparent gunshot wound. The victim was sitting in the driver's seat of a tan 2008 Honda Civic at the time of the shooting.
Addison was pronounced dead soon after at an unidentified hospital, officers said.

Detectives think this was a targeted shooting, not a random act of violence. Authorities have not yet named a suspect. The Anne Arundel County Police Department Homicide Unit is still investigating.
