SEVERN, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for three men suspected of robbing women at gunpoint Saturday and stabbing a man in separate attacks in Severn. Authorities said Monday they have no reason to believe the two attacks are related.

The first robbery was reported just after midnight Saturday, when police were called to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center for a stabbing report. A man told police he was walking near Pioneer Drive and Arwell Court in Severn when three unknown men wearing dark clothing attempted to rob him.

When he refused to give the suspects money or property, a struggle ensued and the victim was stabbed in the arm. He then drove himself to the hospital for treatment. Officers that went to Pioneer Drive near Arwell Court were unable to locate a crime scene.
