Severn Woman Held in Boyfriend's Stabbing: Police
The suspect reportedly stabbed the man in the chest; she was seen at a hospital and has now been booked.

SEVERN, MD — A Severn woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend in the chest during an argument has been processed on assault charges after a brief hospital stay.
Anne Arundel County Police say just after 2 a.m. Wednesday a man reported a stabbing in the 8300 block of Deer Run Court in Severn. The victim had suffered a stab wound to the chest.

He told police he argued with his girlfriend, who stabbed him in the chest, then fled the scene in her vehicle.
Officers soon spotted the suspect, Tammy Anthony, 47, of Severn in her vehicle, a Toyota with GA registration plates. She was stopped on Reece Road near Red Bridge Road. During the arrest, the knife reportedly used in the attack was found inside Anthony’s vehicle.

The victim was taken to Baltimore Shock Trauma for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Anthony was arrested and taken to Western District for processing. During the booking process, she told authorities she needed to go to the hospital.
After Anthony was released from a local hospital Thursday, she was taken to Western District police station, where she was processed and charged with first-degree assault.
