Shoe Store Opening at Village at Waugh Chapel

SAS is opening a 2,596-square-foot shoe store at The Village at Waugh Chapel, the mixed-use development in Gambrills, developers announced Wednesday.

The company is known for its comfort shoes for casual, dress, athletic and walking, as well as a vast assortment of medical and diabetic-approved footwear. All products are handcrafted in the USA.

Developer Greenberg Gibbons said the new store is expected to open in March 2015.

SAS will be located next to Coldstone Creamery and Fuji Modern Asian Cuisine & Sushi Lounge. It joins a list of national and regional retailers and restaurants at The Village at Waugh Chapel, including Safeway, Chipotle, LA Fitness, Marshalls, Homegoods and more.

Located in West Anne Arundel County, The Village at Waugh Chapel incorporates 404,000 square feet of retail space, 400 senior apartments, a restaurant park, an office building and 3 acres of lakes, parks and promenades into an attractive, open-air mixed use development.
