Shots Fired Near Hanover Park, Officers Seek Tips: Police

Police said they found 11 shell casings at a Hanover park. Officers did not list any injuries, but they asked for help finding the shooter.

HANOVER, MD — Police said shots were fired near a Hanover park around 3 a.m. Wednesday. Officers noted that they found 11 shell casings in the parking lot of Jessup Dorsey Park, located in the 7400 block of Race Road.

Authorities did not list any injuries. A nearby tree seemed to be damaged by gunfire, officials added.

A witness told police they saw a white Nissan Altima leave the parking lot and turn left onto Race Road right after the shots, an incident report explained.
