Slurp for Free at 7-Eleven Wednesday

People in Odenton often laugh that the town now has two located within about a mile of one another.

But on days like Wednesday, it’s a nice thing. Both 7-Eleven locations are participating in the SlurpFREE Day promotion, offering a free Slurpee to anyone who walks in the store.

The promotion applies only to the small 7.11-ounce size and runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday while supplies last.

I stopped into the 7-Eleven near the roundabout on Annapolis Road and picked up a combination Mountain Dew and Fanta Banana Slurpee. Not a bad combination. I also bought a quarter-pound Big Bite hot dog, which is sort of the point of these promotions, right? Get people in the store, and hopefully they’ll spend money on something else.

Free Slurpees are available at the 7-Eleven stores located at 1101 Annapolis Rd. and 1350 Odenton Rd.
