Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested at Laurel Motel

A man in the parking lot of the Garden Inn on Fort Meade Road was reportedly found with crack cocaine and marijuana.

A suspected drug dealer was arrested in a Laurel-area motel parking lot Wednesday night, police said.

Anne Arundel County Police say about 9:40 p.m. officers were watching a vehicle in the parking lot of the Garden Inn, 3400 Fort Meade Road near Laurel with a man inside.

Detectives say the suspect -- Cyrus Wayman Levy, 38, no fixed address -- had drugs on his person: 14 baggies of crack cocaine (2.1 gr) and one baggie of what police believe was marijuana (1.87 gr).

At the suspect’s hotel room, detectives found a loaded .38 Smith and Wesson revolver. Levy was charged with possession with intent to distribute and related firearms violations.
