Teens From Severn, Glen Burnie Break Into Cars: Police
A Severn teenager and two teens from Glen Burnie are charged in a string of vehicle break-ins, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Severn teenager and two teens from Glen Burnie are charged in a string of vehicle break-ins, Anne Arundel County Police say. Just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday, a resident called police to report suspects trying to break into vehicles in the area of Cornell Court at Century Town Road in Glen Burnie.
When officers arrived, they set up a perimeter and approached the area on foot. Once officers saw the suspects and made contact, the prowlers fled. After a foot chase, three suspects were caught and taken into custody. They are a 1. 16-year-old boy from Mountain Ridge Court in Glen Burnie; a 13-year-old from Mountain Ridge Court in Glen Burnie; and a 16-year-old boy from Washington Avenue in Severn.
Police say the teens broke into five vehicles in the area, and stole headphones, cell phone chargers, and other items from one vehicle on Cornell Court. They were cited as juveniles.
